Some of the places I boondock are small with not much room for larger RVs. But the old rodeo grounds here in Ajo has plenty of room for any size RV, with all kinds of room to turn around and maneuver, which is why it used to be very popular. A few years ago before the border became a disaster there would be 20 or 30 RVs every time I would come to the old rodeo grounds, and now the most I've seen is eight.

The rest of the pictures down below are just sunset shots of the cloudy days I've been dealing with.

 Another rainy, cloudy day. It only got up into the 60s, and down to the 50s at night, which is perfect sleeping weather. Even though I wouldn't say I like all this cloudy, rainy weather, it's a good test for the Lance and me because the Lance has never gone this long before with thick clouds, rain, and hardly any charging from the solar panels, so I'm happy this is happening.

If I survive until this is over, I will have gone four and a half days with very little charging from the sun. And the only thing I do differently daily is not using my 17-inch laptop for anything except working on my blog. For anything else, I use my 13-inch laptop.

All this rain has put a crimp in my outside activities, but I'm hoping all this moisture will set off another wildflower super-bloom this Spring. It was beautiful last year, but I don't think I've ever heard of a super-bloom two years in a row.

I may be counting my blessings too early, but I haven't had any mouse problems this year... Yet. I brought a few mousetraps with me because when you stay in boondocking places like I do, you know you will be sharing the land with field mice and kangaroo rats, which are cute but destructive.

 And I'm no mouse expert and have no desire to be, but rainy weather like this may flood their little holes and drive them into warmer, dryer places, and those places are usually the truck and the camper. But I have a cunning plan that hopefully will dissuade the ground-dwelling critters from moving in with me.

You may notice from the pictures that I'm parked next to the covered horse stalls, and by parking here, I'm figuring that the little beggars already have a warm, dry mouse hole to live in at the horse stalls and, therefore, won't want to share a home with me and all of my bad habits.
