Almost time for my brief mini-vacation.

Casa Bonita in Denver. I didn't go to this restaurant with the family, and probably never will because I was told it took almost a year to get reservations.

I'm getting the camper ready to travel. Getting the camper ready to hit the road usually takes very little time. But, when I stay in one place for a while, I tend to spread out with things just sitting around that would fall and make a mess unless I put them all away.

I will leave tomorrow morning at about 9:30, which gives rush-hour traffic time to get out of my way. It's only about 90 miles to Antero Reservoir, so it will take a little while to get there. Still, I'll probably stop here and there to take a few pictures since pictures for my new blog are the main reason I'm going there.

Speaking of the new blog, I probably won't use it the day I get there, which will be Tuesday, because it will take me a while to get the pictures resized and ready for the Internet. So it will probably be Wednesday before I put the new blog online.

After I put the new blog online, I will continue to monitor my old blog to make sure everyone gets the message about my new location. You can comment on the old blog if you're having any problems with the new one. In fact, I will probably keep the old blog online, and continue to monitor it, until it's time to pay for another year, and I don't know when that is, but whenever it is, I guess that's when my old blog will go dark.

Another reason I didn't go to Casa Bonita is I might have to wear a silly balloon hat and that would conflict with my normal attire of looking like a homeless bum.

I've seen homeless bums that are dressed pretty strange, but never with a silly balloon hat on.

My grandsons hat is not so silly because it's a realistic looking space alien riding on his back using some kind of mind control to be taken to our leader!

But the jokes on the space alien, as soon as he finds out who our leader is he will laugh his way back to whatever planet he came from.

My granddaughter meeting something that looks like a bear, or a pig or maybe a Chupacabra.

Inside the Casa Bonitas very colorful interior. But I don't think it makes the food taste any better, and I don't go places where I have to beg to be fed. But it does look like the kind of place where a taco cost $20.

At least the kids at a good time, and in the end that's what counts.
