I moved this morning over to the Ben Avery's rifle range where they have dry camping. I haven't checked in yet because the office that handles campers is closed on weekends, so I was just told to pick a spot and check in Monday morning.
Living over here will take some getting used to because this place is locked up at night. All of the ranges on this side of Ben Avery's including the RV Park are behind a locked gate. Those of us staying at the RV Park are given the gate code so we can come and go but I'm not checked in so I don't have the code. There are four or five other RVs here but none of them are very close to me, which is my fault because I picked a spot kind of far away from the other RV's because I was looking forward to being off by myself after being packed in like sardines over at the trap range. I guess being locked in will be fine for one night as long as I don't get into a kerfuffle with a rattlesnake. theboondork

I've decided to stay at Ben Avery's gun range for another week but I'm going to have to move to a different area of the gun range.
I decided to stay another week because next weekend is the Arizona Outdoor Expo. Which is held right here at the gun range. I've been to it several times before and it's always fun with a lot of things to see and do. Normally I would just stay camped where I'm at right now but I didn't reserve my site for long enough, and since next week is the Arizona state championship trap shoot, my spot is rented out already. I'll be moving over to the rifle range campground tomorrow and staying at a dry camping spot, which is great for me because I like dry camping, it's not crowded over there, and it's only $50 a week. theboondork
