![]() I finally got on the road again, it seems like no matter how much I like the place I was at it always feels good to be moving again. I knew that the mountains get crowded in the summer and especially on the weekends but I was so anxious to get out of the hundred degree heat in Pueblo that I thought I would give it a try. But it was worse than I thought, all I wanted was a place to spend a couple of nights so I could scout out the area for Boondocking spots but the first two RV parks I checked were full and the next three National Forest campsites were full. So I ended up driving miles away from the Woodland Park area and parking beside a dirt road in the national forest. Not the ideal spot but it is a legal place to camp. The carry rack for my Yamaha WR450 worked great and I made it down about 10 miles of bumpy dirt road without an issue. Matt Fetty at Haggard's RV park in Pueblo did a great job on it especially considering the conditions he was dealing with. So now I'm sitting in a pull off next to a dirt road wondering what to do next. I know I'm going to spend Sunday night here because there's no sense looking for a decent camping spot on the weekend but I have no Internet and only one bar of Verizon...... sometimes. theboondork
