Doing a lot of relaxing today

If everybody had my druthers, everybody would click the pics.

My new boondocking spot at the Pima County Fairgrounds

The weather today is chilly enough to turn on the furnace in the morning, but it's T-shirt weather again by lunch. It is still the coldest Arizona winter weather I've ever been in.

A few Hunter Jumpers were out early this morning, mostly just surveying the course. It's a five-day event, so most competitors aren't even here yet.

The RV show starts today, and they were still bringing in RVs this morning. But, of course, most interested folks won't be here till the weekend.

So there's not much going on for me today, I am mostly taking it easy and resting up from all the walking I did at Whitewater Draw, a lot of up and down hill walking at Tombstone, and I'm going to be doing a lot of walking tomorrow, so I need to rest up for that.

Now that's thinking outside the box.... Mailbox. Unfortunately, the space where I would need to put the mailboxes is over my bed, and that area is pretty hard to get to anything without climbing up into the bed, which you don't want to be doing any more than necessary. In the very front of the "bedroom," I put four large plastic tubs that are hard to get to, but I only store things in them that I don't use very often.

And by the way, I haven't forgotten about taking some pictures on the way I have the camper arranged inside, it's mostly a case of laziness and procrastination, and I haven't completely got it all sorted out yet that keeps me from taking some pictures. But I'll get it done it's just a matter of getting in the mood and scraping up enough ambition to make up my bed someday.

Thank you Judith. I've spent so much time camping at the Pima County Fairgrounds that it doesn't take much to get me settled in. I know where everything is, I know the folks that run the place, and more importantly, they know me. So getting settled in is no more effort than just showing up.

I, too am looking forward to the horses. Watching barrel racing is kind of a new thing in my life, but being around Hunter Jumpers has been with me since high school. I don't think it's as interesting to watch as barrel racing because barrel racing is all about speed, and Hunter Jumper horses are all about control, but I still enjoy watching it.
