I put my modified seat on the little Beta yesterday and I think it's going to work out okay. It doesn't look as good as motorcycle seats I've done in the past because its not stretched tight like a motorcycle seat should be. But that's the best I could do considering the weird mounting system I was having to deal with.
I also got out my little Viair compressor and pumped up all of my assorted tires on the trailer, truck, and motorcycle. That is a considerable amount of work for me to accomplish in one day but it just goes to show how energetic one can get when one starts thinking about the call of the open road and hitch itch starts to set in.
Speaking of the open road, due to some family things I may stay here in Denver until early October which is no big deal because the weather is usually pretty nice in early October and still a mite too warm down south. I haven't made up my mind yet, I'll just have to wait and see how things shake out.
I went to the post office today and mailed my business taxes that I picked up from my accountant the other day. That still leaves my personal taxes to get done but I have till the middle of October before that's due. And being the procrastinator that I am I won't start worrying about it until October 14.
