I finally did my laundry

I did my laundry this morning because I couldn't think of a single excuse why I shouldn't. It wasn't as bad as it could have been. I got there about 6:30 in the morning, so there was hardly anyone washing clothes but me, which meant that the worst part, which is the waiting around for things to get done, was made a lot easier by being able to find plenty of empty machines and hang around inside the Lance where I'm comfortable instead of sitting in the laundromat with people coughing on me.

Remember, I credit not being around very many people as the reason why I never feel bad, sick, achy, or out of sorts during the winter when I'm traveling. But like I've said before, most folks would not be willing or able to do that. But it works out perfectly for a loner like me who actually enjoys boondocking a lot more than living in crowded RV parks,

I filled up a propane tank just down the street while waiting for my laundry, and it was a little over four dollars a gallon, which is a lot, especially for Quartzite, which usually has cheap propane.

I also put a splash of diesel fuel in my tank while in town. I wasn't that low on fuel, but I wanted to throw away a Walmart grocery bag of trash, and I feel better putting my trash in the gas station trash cans if I buy their diesel fuel. I could throw it away at the transfer station for free, but I was to far from that location.

I've been thinking about the possibility of another super bloom this spring. I found a photographer on the Internet who lives in Phoenix and keeps up with super blooms and what causes them. And according to him, there's a good possibility of another super blown in southern Arizona. I hope he's right because that is an incredible sight, and twice in a row would be very special.

My truck parked in front of the laundromat this morning. Being able to sit in my camper while the clothes are washing and drying makes doing laundry so much nicer.

The laundromat is pretty big, and It gets crowded certain times of the year. But I tend to stay away from here during those times of the year.

A very nice camper van boondocked in the bushes. I see he's got a gallon of water sitting on the little table outside, and I'm sure all you "desert rats" know that jug of water is for any illegals walking through the area, so they won't knock on your door asking for Aqua. Some of them are looking for more than water If they knock on your door.
