it's not much snow, but even a little bit is too much for me. And with temperatures hovering in the 20s its giving me that mental push I need to go someplace where snow Is a four letter word.
I slept later than normal this morning because the snow had covered the skylight over my bed and the vent fan so with my insulated blackout drapes closed, there was almost no light in the room and that's usually what wakes me up in the morning. So between the cold and the darkness I didn't get out of bed till almost 9 o'clock.
I went outside and took a couple pictures but didn't stay long because it was still snowing and the temperature was about 20°. It looks like today is going to be a hanging around the trailer and trying to stay warm kind of day.
On October 23 it will be my third anniversary of being a full timer so once I hit the road next week I'll be going through my spreadsheets and figuring out how much I've spent this year and what I spent it on. The spreadsheets will make gathering that information way easier than it was when I just wrote it all down in a book. I'll report my findings, including mileage for the truck and the Arctic Fox, when I get it done.
it's about time for me to hitch up and ease on down the road. there are warmer and sunnier places than Denver right now and I need to be in one of them.
