I'm a wee bit concerned

Boondocking at Elephant Butte Lake

Where I'm boondocked at the moment the nearest dumpster is about 1/4 of a mile away, but that's okay because I only fill up a Walmart grocery bag with garbage every other day so it doesn't require that much walking. The problem is it's uphill all the way to the dumpster, but at least coming back to the Lance is easy.

There's a few things I would like to do to the outside of the Lance but this chilly weather makes it difficult for me to get in the mood to do any work outside. I keep putting it off telling myself that when the Gallup, New Mexico balloon rally is over I will be beating feet, and heading South until I find some warm weather in southern Arizona. And it doesn't have to be 80° because the deserts extremely low humidity makes it comfortable even at 60... I can't wait.

There is one teeny tiny concern about my southern Arizona plans. It seems that an American law called "title 42" is preventing a lot of illegals from entering America via the southern border, but that law is going to expire December 21, 2022, and at the moment there are tens of thousands of illegals from different countries amassing on the Mexican side of the border waiting for the December 21 expiration date when they will be able to walk across the border and stay in America.

And no I'm not against immigration, I'm against illegal uncontrolled immigration. But I will again repeat what someone once said. "You can have a welfare state, or you can have open borders, but you can't have both without destroying your country"... And both is what we've got.

So anyway, keeping that in mind does have me a bit concerned about boondocking out in the desert even more so than it did before. So I'm probably going to be staying even closer to civilization than I would have in the past.

Here's a puzzlement for everyone. I know the answer to this question because it's happened to me before, but it took me a little while to figure it out when it happened the first time.

I took a picture of these flying Red-wing blackbirds, and when I put the image on the computer I had these  spots all over my picture. Do I need to clean my sensor? Is my lens dirty? Space aliens hidden amongst the birds? Do I need to stop taking pictures of birds? The first time it happened to me there were no clues in the picture. But now, all the clues you need are in the picture.

A Schoolie. I don't think it's the rainbow people because the bus isn't painted funny colors. I can see they have wood heat because of the chimney sticking out of the roof. They also have a "beam" sticking out the back of the bus, that has a block and tackle on it that looks like it's used for picking up something heavy... Maybe a motorcycle? Or a boat that sits on the roof? Not sure what it is and the bus has been here since I arrived.
