I'm disappointed

I wandered over to the casino this morning and found out that the upstairs car Museum is closed.... That was very disappointing. I sure hope the museum closing is a Bat flu thing and not something permanent.

Since I'm not big on gambling, visiting the car Museum was one of the main reasons I came here, so with that not working out, I now have a gaping hole left in my things-to-do list and only have a couple of things left, so it looks like I will be heading on down the road early next week.

Instead of spending the morning at the museum, I crossed the river and went to Home Depot. Home Depot is straight across the river from the parking lot where I'm boondocked. I bought a couple of pieces of wood I'm going to cut up and turn into leveling blocks. I use the orange plastic waffle things most of the time, but I need a little bit more to get level every once in a while.

Before I became a fulltimer, I never would've even considered buying a piece of wood for this job; I would've used the scraps I had laying around in the garage. But now I don't have a garage, and I don't have any scraps of wood or scraps of food either; I can't remember the last time I threw any food away because I only make as much as I'm going to eat, And I eat everything I make. I kinda miss having scraps of stuff laying around, but simplifying your life usually means not having much of anything laying around that you're not using.

What can be said about this photograph? I can't think of a single thing.

There's a lot of flowers around the casino, but I doubt if any of them are native to this area. I don't think casinos like anything that's real. Casinos are all about fantasy, and your imagination of living a life of luxury if you can just hit that one big jackpot.
But the truth is the only people in the casino that's living a life of luxury..... Is the owner.
