I believe I mentioned before how quickly our weather can change in Colorado especially if the weathers influenced by the mountains like Denver's weather is, I'm watching a good example of that right now. The latest weather forecast for Thursday is, 31° for a high, 19° for a low, and a 60% chance of snow, and Wednesdays high temperature has now been upped to 79° and a low for Wednesday night to 28°.
That's a lot of weather action going on for a 24 hour period. Were going to lose almost 50° and go from hot and sunny to snow and well below freezing temperatures. It's rapid weather changes like that that sometimes cause hikers and hunters to get trapped in the mountains, and when the snow plows finally get to them their wearing summer clothes.
But that's still three days away so I don't worry about it, the weather guessers might turn Thursday back to sunny and warm before it ever gets here. But today it's beautiful fall weather and the kind of day you feel lucky to be alive.
Meanwhile I'm still chipping away at things I need to get done before I leave, speaking of chipping away I cleaned the Arctic Fox's stove today, and silly me I always thought I had a black stove with one burner, imagine my surprise when I found out it wasn't black at all and I had a couple more burners. Now I can buy a second pot and become a gourmet chef like I've always wanted .
