it's still pretty chilly but it looks like the rain is over.

The sun finally managed to claw its way above the massive cloud bank that had been blocking it by 10 o'clock this morning and revealed a relatively blue sky that sent my solar panels into overdrive.

I don't know if being in Arizona will solve the weather problems that I've been dealing with, but I don't see how it could make it any worse, so all I can think about anymore is getting there. It seems like some of my problems have been timing, it appears I get someplace when the weather's nice, while I'm there it turns bad, and as soon as I leave the sun comes out and it warms up again.

I plan on being in Benson Arizona by Monday afternoon and the 10 day weather forecast is calling for highs in the 60s and mostly sunny, I hope that holds true because it will be a big improvement over the way it's been in Deming.

I was going to do some laundry today but I kept putting it off later and later until I  finally I lost the desire. Procrastination gets you out of a lot of work. And then I remembered that the Escapees RV Park in Benson where I'm heading has the nicest laundry room I've ever seen in my life. It's big with a lot of newish machines, and immaculately clean. So I figured not doing laundry here was an exceptionally wise decision, because doing laundry in Benson will be a lot better. I wonder why I will end up not doing laundry in Benson? Probably because the weather will be so nice I won't want to spend half a day sitting in a laundry room.

Rock Hound state Park Deming New Mexico

Just down the road from Rock Hound state Park is Spring Canyon state Park, and this is a picture of the mountains that Spring Canyon is in. It's a pretty place with hiking trails and picnic areas, but there's no camping. You can see the road leading into the Park, which in some places is more like a roller coaster than a road.
