I've figured out what to do about my dust problems. and the solution was so simple I can't believe I didn't think of it before.

Last night's sunset. The sprinklers are sprinkling away, but I think they're losing the war. Those lights in the lower left corner are from the Tucson Speedway NASCAR track, they were racing last night. I'm not sure they were actually racing it sounded like they were having a contest as to who had the loudest car.... as far as I could tell it was a tie.

Getting back to my problems with dust and why RVs are so afflicted. I don't know if it's done on purpose, haphazard manufacturing, or the speed at which these RVs are built but either way most RVs are full of cracks and holes. They normally do a pretty good job of making an RV watertight, because that's really important and what most people care about, but making them somewhat airtight is way down the list of what RV manufacturers care about.

If you've ever spent time doing some repairs on an RV, trying to figure out where that mouse came from, or looking for the origin of that chilly breeze coming from the kitchen area, you've probably figured out already that the windows and vents are nowhere near the only places air can get into and out of an RV.

Yes some of the dust, sawdust, and other debris was left inside the walls and ceiling of the RV when it was built and over time as the RV shakes, rattles, and rolls down the road this stuff ends up in the cabinets and on the floor but I don't think this is the biggest part of the problem.

My experience has been that most of the dust is being sucked into the RV as I drive down the road. And as a boondocker that spends a lot of time on dirt roads in the wild wild West, that's known for its lack of moisture, the problem is much worse than it is for folks that spend their winters in humid places like Florida or the Texas Gulf coast. So that leaves me with basically two options. Try and find all the places dust can be sucked into the Arctic Fox which may not even be possible, or learn to live with it.....and If you've read my blog for a while you already know the answer to that.

Based on my inherent laziness, lack of ambition, and extraordinarily lackadaisical attitude toward life in general I think I will put off solving that problem till another day..... Oh that's right I forgot.... I also procrastinate.

I don't know if this is me or you but your blog now comes in with a lot of blank space at the top. I have to scroll down to even see your title. Plus, since your background is now black, I have to persuade myself there is a blog there somewhere. :)

Thank you so much for that Linda, someone else complained of that same problem a few days ago. I talked to my relatives in Denver and they said my blog looked normal to them on their laptops, and on their phones, so it appears that the blog has a problem that affects some people and not others. All that black space is not supposed to be there, there's actually a large picture that's supposed to show at the top.

I'm not sure what to do at the moment to fix this problem but here's what I've tried to do so far. I tried it on my two other laptops and my phone and it looks normal. I've tried it on Firefox, Microsoft edge, and the Opera web browser and they all worked. I changed the picture that's supposed to show to a different one and changed the size a couple days ago so it looks like that didn't help.

I'm at a loss at the moment on what else to do, but I'll think of something. My blog is a fairly big part of my life and even more so in this period of isolation where it's just about my only contact with the world, so I really appreciate you backing up the earlier report that something's wrong.

Wow! That's great Linda, thanks for letting me know. I wish I knew what I did, or somebody did. I made a variety of changes, mostly returning some things back to the way they were, which makes it impossible for me to know what, if anything, I did to fix it. I did notice my comment section is hard to see again..... And that was the main reason I started this whole deal. Oh well, look at all the experience I gained if I ever have to get a job again.

I see the black space at the top, too. I use Chrome as a browser. I also had to jump through some extra hoops to get the CVRL forums to show properly. Nancy

Thank you very much Nancy, it does appear I have a problem and I need to call tech support..... Oh wait, I am tech support..... We're in big trouble.

But don't worry, I'll do that for you, I'm working on the problem as we speak and will hopefully have these issues cleared up pretty quick, or redesign the whole thing.

Thanks for letting me know because I didn't even know I had a problem until everyone told me.
