This is a picture of the casino I'm boondocked at, it's actually a very nice place, in fact it's so nice I can't believe they let ME stay here.
Going to Walmart this morning was my big accomplishment for the day. I thought about going into the casino and dropping a few dollars in the slots but I don't think I've ever won anything at an Indian casino, their paybacks are notoriously low. I'll play a little bit before I leave but I don't want to make a habit of it.
Before I got to the real Walmart I accidentally stopped at one of those little Walmart neighborhood stores. I've only been in one of those a couple times before and I found them rather dismal and depressing then and they haven't changed a bit since my first impression.
I'm not sure what it is about them but they seem more disorganized, messy and dark than the regular Walmart's. I remember reading that Walmart has closed a few of them and from what I've seen if they can't brighten and spiff them up a little bit they ought to close them all.
My first night here at the Casino Del Sol was quiet and uneventful as I expected it to be. Casino parking lots are generally very safe places to boondock. They have lots of cameras and plenty of security people driving around so I don't know how you could be any safer.
Even though it's very crowded here the parking lot where were all boondocked is pretty large so were not packed up together like you would be at an RV Park. And since were parked completely separate from where the casino patrons park there are no cars coming and going all hours of the night so it's amazingly peaceful and quiet considering that I can walk to the casino door in five minutes.
It looks like that cold snap I went through a while back is gone now. For the last three or four days it's been in the mid-80s in the afternoon and only in the low 60s at night, so it's pretty pleasant now.
This is another picture of all the RVs boondocked at the casino.I wish I could send up the drone and get a nice picture of all the RVs, but I'm pretty sure security would shoot down the drone and then tie me to a giant roulette wheel for a while.
