My last day boondocking on the Llano river

It's been pretty hot today it got up to about 85 which is tolerable if I remember to get the vent fans running  before the Arctic Fox starts to heat up.

On the other side of the Llano River there's a County Park directly across from where I'm staying at the city Park. I wanted to see what it looked like over there and get a picture of the Arctic Fox from the other side of the river. There was four or five people over there picking up pecans and some of them were doing it the easy way. They would spread out a large tarp under a pecan tree and then throw sticks up in the branches to shake the pecans loose, this looked a lot quicker and easier than searching through the leaves trying to find a pecan.

Apparently the town library is one of the few places in town where you can get free Internet. Every time I go there to use the Internet, there's a couple of cars in the parking lot using the Internet and four or five people sitting on the library porch using the Internet. So I guess I'm not the only person in town that has Verizon. Junction Texas is the only place I've ever been in since I got Verizon that my phone doesn't work at all.

I'm going to leave here Thursday, since my three days will be up, and go to Kerrville Texas which has a Walmart that welcomes boondockers like me. From there I will only be about 200 miles from Corpus Christi Texas and the Gulf coast.

 depending on what I find that's interesting between Kerrville and Corpus Christi I will probably be on the Gulf Coast by next week sometime where I will celebrate with a plate of real Gulf Coast fried shrimp, and a new fishing rod big enough to use in saltwater.
