Ah. I do like pintails. Not sure why, I guess I think they are just handsome. Not tired of crane photos yet, that's for sure. Especially as your photos have such nice light for them.

Thank you Judith. My favorite light is clouds but it looks like there's not going to be many of those for a while, its mostly clear blue skies ahead. Pintail's and Coots are the only ducks I've seen around here for a while, throw in a couple of hundred Snow Geese, and of course, 10 or 20,000 cranes, and that pretty much covers all the waterfowl I've seen here.

I agree with your premise. It's all about compromise and need. But being at the right place at the right time is critical no matter what equipment one has. I agree that the modern equipment and processing programs allow for a much better picture. I am sorry to cause you to burn your eggs but I am delighted to hear your opinions on photography. LOL!!!!!!

Don't worry about the eggs they weren't burned any worse than the way I normally eat anything.
