Sunrise while boondocking at elephant Butte state Park.
I went to the hardware store this morning and bought a different piece of metal to mount my rearview camera that looks down on the little Beta 250. This piece of metal was thinner so it was easier for me to bend into the shape it needed to be, so after a little trial and error, mostly error, I've got the camera mounted to the back of the Arctic Fox and everything seems to be working pretty well. But the only way to really test it is to get on the road with the trailer behind me and see how it works under various conditions.
It was a beautiful day today but a little on the warm side getting into the 90s, but at least there was little or no wind and I can deal with the heat.
Today is one week that I've been at Elephant Butte state Park, and as usual I'm enjoying being here and have no desire to move on. From here on out it's usually the weather and stay limits that dictates my movements, it will start getting too hot to be this far south pretty soon and I will creep a little farther to the north, always mindful of my altitude will also be increasing so I can get into some cold weather rather quickly under certain conditions if I move north to soon.
my two new rearview cameras installed and working..... so far.
