The good news that came out of that was that it looks like my 2015 taxes aren't going to be as bad as I thought. In fact it's reached a point where my Colorado state taxes are twice as much is my IRS taxes. And no moving won't help since my income is derived from the state of Colorado I will have to pay taxes on it no matter where I live.
I stopped by a motorcycle shop in Colorado Springs and bought an oil filter for the Yamaha WR 450. Pretty soon now I'll have to change the oil after its break-in period is over. I also stopped by Walmart and bought a few critical supplies that were running low [ beer] and got rid of some bags of trash that were piling up. Bags of trash are problem because I can't set them outside or leave them in the bed of the truck because the Bears will get into them and make a huge mess,... Don't ask me how I know this.
So all in all it's been a very productive day and getting the tax information to the accountant was the last thing I needed to do before I can relax and not have to deal with any government agency until next year, I hope.
