I wish there was a pic to click, but lately I've been feeling sick. But I know I'll be better soon, from the bat flu I am not immune. Not much is going on except me being sick and not feeling like doing anything. I spend most of my time sitting in my easy chair, hoping I'll feel better tomorrow, but so far, I feel about the same every day. I've tested positive for two home Covid tests now so it looks like that's my problem and I can't blame it on allergies anymore.
When I lay down in my bed, it makes me cough a lot, so I'm more comfortable sitting up than lying down. I don't have a fever, which is good; I just feel like I've got a mild flu. Fortunately, everybody's taking care of me, so I've got plenty to eat when I feel like eating, which isn't very often. And everybody checks on me several times a day to ensure I'm capable of answering the phone. I can't remember the last time I was sick enough not to live my normal life. I'm usually pretty healthy, so I'm not used to being knocked down like this. In fact, the last time I can remember laying in bed at home for almost a week was the last time I got the flu; that must've been at least 30 years ago. Oh well, I guess it was my turn. I was careful as I could be; I got all my shots, but somehow a Bat must've snuck up on me when I wasn't looking, and now I'm paying the price. Once again, as you may have noticed, there are no pictures for today; I haven't left the Arctic Fox in about three days, so images are hard to come by. But I'll get back to normal; it's just a matter of time. fortunately, it takes more than a couple of Bats to keep me down. Theboondork

We did well getting the flu shots to make the cases less severe. I have not had it yet but I wanted the shots to keep it a low destruction case if I get it. Good luck.

I've always heard this new much weakened Covid was much like the flu, and after having the flu twice in my life that's exactly the way I would describe it. It doesn't last as long as the flu, and the symptoms are half as bad as the flu.... But of course when you're old and geezerly, half as bad as the flu is still pretty bad.

Thank you Larry. I take that as an order, and I never disobey an order from a superior.

So, spending all day in your chair, how is that different? :)

You're right Linda, relaxing in my easy chair all day is perfectly normal, the difference is now people come in to check on me making sure I'm okay, and bring me food. If I wasn't feeling sick, I could live like this the rest of my life.

Yeah, having people bring you food is good. But, not being able to travel isn't. Trade offs.

That's very true Linda, especially that travel thing, I don't know what I would do if I couldn't travel, I can't imagine what it would be like, and I sure would hate to find out.
