I wish there was a pic to click, but lately I've been feeling sick. But I know I'll be better soon, from the bat flu I am not immune.
Not much is going on except me being sick and not feeling like doing anything. I spend most of my time sitting in my easy chair, hoping I'll feel better tomorrow, but so far, I feel about the same every day. I've tested positive for two home Covid tests now so it looks like that's my problem and I can't blame it on allergies anymore.
When I lay down in my bed, it makes me cough a lot, so I'm more comfortable sitting up than lying down. I don't have a fever, which is good; I just feel like I've got a mild flu.
Fortunately, everybody's taking care of me, so I've got plenty to eat when I feel like eating, which isn't very often. And everybody checks on me several times a day to ensure I'm capable of answering the phone.
I can't remember the last time I was sick enough not to live my normal life. I'm usually pretty healthy, so I'm not used to being knocked down like this. In fact, the last time I can remember laying in bed at home for almost a week was the last time I got the flu; that must've been at least 30 years ago.
Oh well, I guess it was my turn. I was careful as I could be; I got all my shots, but somehow a Bat must've snuck up on me when I wasn't looking, and now I'm paying the price.
Once again, as you may have noticed, there are no pictures for today; I haven't left the Arctic Fox in about three days, so images are hard to come by. But I'll get back to normal; it's just a matter of time. fortunately, it takes more than a couple of Bats to keep me down.
