My plans for today didn't work out. I wanted to visit the old mining town of Oatman near here to check out the boondocking possibilities but when I woke up this morning the wind was blowing so hard that driving through the desert didn't seem like a wise or fun thing to do. The wind is supposed to continue through tomorrow so maybe I will give it a try on Saturday.
There's also a casino about 15 miles down the road from here called the Avi, which is owned by the Mohave Indians, that has a huge boondocking area beside the casino, so I'm considering boondocking there for a few days. And since the Avi is only about 15 miles from Oatman I guess I could stay there and just visit Oatman. Since either way involves me boondocking in the desert they both sound great to me, which is my favorite kind of decision to make.
something else you don't see on cars anymore, a sun visor.
