It felt really strange writing this blog post realizing that after about 10 years of blogging, this is probably the last one on my old Weebly blog.

I'm writing this while I'm boondocked at the Antero reservoir and don't have any pictures ready to put on the Internet yet. I could put some old ones on this blog post like I've been doing this summer, but I need to get out of that habit and try to get enough new stuff to last me until I head South for the winter.

I guess you could say this is the end of an era for me, I started my almost daily blogging with my old Weebly blog when I first went full-time, now it looks like I'll be ending up my blogging with Squarespace which may last me until the bitter end.

Like I had mentioned before Weebly was no longer being supported which means sooner or later it will wither and die and I didn't want my blog to wither and die along with it, so a change had to be made.

My new blog will look different but it's still the same. A lot of the changes I made were to make putting out my blog everyday quicker and easier on me, because like most things in life the easier something is the more likely I am to do it.

So the next time you hear from me, with any luck, it will be on my new blog which can be found at

I obviously couldn't use my old .com address, since theboondork.com is still open. But when I close my old Weebly blog I will still own theboondork.com and maybe I will change the new Squarespace blog back to the old blog's address.

So adiós amigos I'll be leaving now, but I shall return in a new form.... Older, wiser, but just as lazy, procrastinating, and geezerly as before. New form but the same old boondork.
