This is a drone picture of part of my neighborhood at La Posa Tyson Wash LTVA boondocking area
It got cold last night, not chilly but actually cold. Outside temperature got down to 31 and with no heat on in the trailer it got down to 45 indoors. And the temperature in the basement storage area got down to 43.
The reason I'm reporting that is because it tells me something about the Arctic Fox's insulation. Even though it got down to freezing, the basement, and the pipes, both in the basement and in the living area, stayed well above freezing. It also means that the basement access doors, which by the way are also insulated, are sealed up well enough that they keep the cold air out.
I went to the Walmart in Parker today. I needed a few things but mostly it seemed like the warmest thing to do. That Walmart is always busy even though I would guess that in the summer its not nearly that busy. As usual I shopped as quickly as possible to limit my exposure to anyone with the flu. I sure will be glad when this flu thing is over and I can take my time and enjoy buying groceries again.
I also stopped by the tool vendor and bought two pieces of the carpet samples he had for sale I think they're going to be great for kneeling pads when I'm working on the little Beta 250.
I sure will be glad when this cold spell is over, its been going on almost all day now and I am so over it.
I took this picture of the sun because it warms me up whenever I look at it
