It rained a little late yesterday afternoon which cooled things off considerably and made for some comfortable sleeping weather after the heat of yesterday. It only got up to the mid-80s today and since it was partly cloudy it was a lot more comfortable than yesterday even though the humidity got up to about 40%.

I'm still thinking about going to Rocky Mountain National Park next week. The thought had crossed my mind before I wrote my blog yesterday but while writing my blog I pretty much talked myself into going. The weather looks good for picture taking with some partly cloudy days next week and even a chance of rain later in the week, and skies like that usually make for better pictures.

When I was there last summer the skies were not only smokey, which is not good for pictures, but I was sleeping in a tent, which was not good for me. This time sleeping in the little Bronco I will be far more comfortable which will change my outlook on life considerably.

An added benefit of having my home on my back is I can spend longer periods of time in places where there's a nice view. Since I have my kitchen and bathroom with me wherever I stop to take pictures I don't have to be in a hurry to leave. Never underestimate the value of having a bathroom with you wherever you happen to be.
