Today was busy and hot. Temperatures been in the high 80s the last few days and since I've been running around and not sitting and relaxing like I do in the winter the high 80s is harder to deal with.
I took part of the back seat out of my truck. My backseat is in two pieces the driver side backseat seats two, and the passenger side backseat just seats one, so I removed the seat that seats one. That gives me a lot of empty space on the passenger side of the back of the truck and the loss of part of the backseat doesn't bother me because I never carry that many people around.
The reason for all that is I'm still experimenting with being able to sleep in the truck if the need should arise during my mini vacations. I've considered removing the passenger seat which would make sleeping in the truck really easy, but I was hoping to find a way without doing something that drastic. If I did remove the front seat I could still have two passengers in the remaining backseat which is still more people than I ever carry.
I need to go back to the town where I used to live in the mountains on business June 16. And I may take that opportunity to experiment with a very short mini vacation and go out to my property near 11 mile reservoir and camp in my Coleman tent for a night or two just to get the feel for some real camping and test out my equipment. Right now it would feel really good to get out of this Denver heat and up into the cool mountains for a while.
By the way, I think my comment problems have been fixed now, I was able to respond to a comment without getting an error message so hopefully that mini nightmare is over.
