I took this picture of the moon last night, it's a Boondocking moon
I went to the post office today and picked up my General Delivery mail, the crowds weren't as bad as the 1st time I tried it so I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. The weather's been pretty nice, about 70° in the daytime and mid 40s at night. And the bright sunny skies make any battery charging problems a distant memory. I have to break camp and move from my present area by this coming Thursday. My 2 weeks of free BLM camping will be over then and I will have a choice of 3 things that I can do.
1--- go to a pay RV Park 2--- go 25 miles from here and stay at another BLM free area. 3--- go to a long term visitor area, LTVA and pay $40 for 2 weeks of Boondocking with benefits.
I'm probably going to go to the LTVA and boondock with benefits. There I'll be able to dump my tanks, and fill up with water. At least They call it water but it's actually Desert Water and not water that you're normally used to drinking.... Remember the cowboy movies where somebody is staggering through the desert and they come upon a mud hole that has a dead cow laying next to it with his tongue still laying in the water, and they fall down on their knees, scrape off what ever's floating on top of the water and then fall face first into the slimy puddle,...... that's Desert Water.
