a brief trip to downtown ajo

Boondocking sunset, Ajo Arizona.

Seeing as how it's Sunday and the weather was absolutely perfect, I drove downtown this morning to get a few pictures before things got crowded. Not that Ajo actually gets crowded, I don't think there's enough people in this area to make a crowd, it just means I can stop in the middle of the street jump out, take a picture and nobody cares.

Just as I suspected there was hardly anyone in town except at the large Catholic Church that's right across the street from the Plaza.

Since there was a pretty sunset last night I decided to take that opportunity to show everyone my neighborhood. This is three of my neighbors across the way. Those two RVs apparently are friends which is why their parked so close together.

Another neighbor. If you look at the right side, very back of the picture you can see the light poles where the rodeo arena is, it's all boondocking from that area to way behind me where I'm standing to take this picture.

Two 27 – 5L Arctic Fox's. As I was standing behind my Arctic Fox taking pictures of the sunset, another one just like it pulled in. They're not exactly alike, the one that just pulled in is several years newer than mine....Here's a brief lesson in RV etiquette. It's perfectly acceptable to go over and talk to another RVer for any reason. Except when they're setting up, or breaking camp, and especially when they're hooking or unhooking the trailer. Those times require concentration for safety reasons and is considered uncool to hang around while that's going on.
