Nice .22 rifle you have there. I put thousands of rounds thru predecessors many years ago. Even those were fine rifles in my opinion.

I wasn't to thrilled with them myself when they first came out. The .223 when I was a kid was used for varmint shooting. The military used the .308 and 30.06, a man's rifle.

Hard for me to believe this place sits out waiting for you all the time and you use it so rarely. But then, what do I know. Well, I do know that it takes a while, and probably longer for old geezers, for the red blood cells to increase and handle the lower O2 at altitude. I myself have always hated being above 11,000 feet. Even with a few days there.....a lowlander for sure. Good idea to go at it gradually.
