It's been pretty cloudy today, and the clouds are thick enough that I'm only getting about 10 amps an hour from the solar panels. And even though that's about 1/3 of what I would normally get in the winter with the sun this low on the horizon it's still enough to charge my batteries back to full in a few hours.
It was great to have a night last night of absolute silence. At the place where I've been for the last two weeks, the place that rhymes with "have a Sue", there was enough people around me that with the noises people normally make and their generators running, there was almost never any silence, so last night was a real treat.
Despite the fact that I'm going to leave tomorrow morning I was still going to roll the little Beta 250 off the rack and ride it around a little bit, I promised it I would. But the weather even though still warm wasn't a motorcycle kind of day so I left it covered up and locked down until we get to Ben Avery's gun range.
A boondocker's view.
After the holidays when folks start coming to town this view will have several RVs In it. But at the moment there's not much going on, just peace and quiet.
