A Cold day

If you click the pics you might hear the roar of the 12 cylinder engines, and the smell of the burning tires.

A few more pictures from my visit to a car dealer the other day, includes this absolutely gorgeous Lamborghini.

It was pretty chilly all day today, which is not at all strange for this time of year, even for Denver. When I lived in the Colorado mountains, we almost always got our first snowfall in late September, and having it snow on Halloween was very common and expected.

The high country got a load of snow dumped on it last night, but fortunately, the snow levels didn't make it down to Denver.... Yet!  But the chilly weather kept me in the Lance for most of the day,

Having nothing important to do outside anyway I just played on the computer for most of the day trying to stay warm. But it's weather like this that makes the 71° and sunny, which is what it is in Phoenix Arizona right now, sound awfully good and helps put me in the mood to find a new view... I'll bet I could even find an empty patch of desert with a Saguaro cactus I could boondock beside.

The disc brakes are almost the size of the cars wheels. But that's what it takes to stop a car going 200 miles an hour time after time.

Who doesn't love a convertible... But I have to admit Miami Florida is where these convertibles belong, not Colorado. And of course that's why Miami Florida is full of half-million dollar convertibles.

Of course drug dealers and Saudi royal family members are just about the only ones that can afford cars like this Maserati. And Miami is full of drug dealers and Saudi royal family members. They all like to moor  their yachts there.

This is a family luxury sports car.... As long as some of your family doesn't have any legs.

I've always thought the Lamborghinis had a very sophisticated look that isn't shared by many other luxury sports cars.
