The best picture I've ever taken of the Sun. it's filtered through the fog.
I woke up this morning in a fog that reminded me of being on the coast, it's certainly not the way a desert should be, but by 9 o'clock it had all burned off leaving blue skies and comfortable temperatures.
I went to Walmart this morning and picked up a few groceries and I'm starting to believe that I'm the worst grocery shopper in the world. I have a shopping list app on my phone and I walk into Walmart with six things on my shopping list and walk out half an hour later pushing a grocery cart that has 10 bags in it, and I don't even cook.
Which makes me wonder, if I don't cook, and only eat out once or twice a month how come I'm putting on weight instead of starving to death? I weighed myself the other day and I was 205 pounds which would be great if I was 6 foot 10, but I'm not so that sounds like a lot. But then I told myself it would be worse if I was 5 foot 4, so now I don't feel so bad knowing that all I have to do is get a little taller and my weight will be perfect.
I've noticed that Christmas is coming up pretty soon so I need to figure out where I want to be for the holidays. I definitely don't want to be driving around looking for a place to stay. I'm guessing there will be a lot of people on the road the weekend of the 21st and 22nd so I need to be hunkered down before then. I'm considering the possibility of staying here longer than I first intended, because I like it here, and there's things to do in the area. But then maybe I would be better off out in the desert boondocking somewhere. I'm not sure what I will choose but whichever way I go It's usually the way that causes me the least possible effort.....I'll have to give it some thought.
It looks like I'm on the Gulf Coast instead of in a desert.....wait a minute maybe I am on the Gulf coast and I'm just pretending to be in Tucson. But why would I do that?
A foggy morning at the fairgrounds. Or on the Gulf coast. Wherever I am it's foggy.
Some local cactus. I know you can't tell from the picture, but each of these Cactus is the size of a garbage can, and they don't grow on the Gulf coast...... or do they?
