A holiday is coming up

Another cloudy, rainy day in the desert, which seems to be the story of my entire winter. Thank goodness it's not cold like it used to be, so I can stand a little rain as long as I don't have to worry about it turning into ice and snow.

I just noticed that the Easter holidays are coming up pretty soon, April the ninth, so I need to start thinking about where I will hole up for the holiday. I can't stay here, Ben Avery has a two-week limit, so I'm unsure where I would like to go. For the last few years, I've spent the Easter holidays at Elephant Butte State Park in New Mexico because that place is big enough to hold lots of boondockers like myself.  I will be here till almost the end of March, so that doesn't give me a lot of time to figure out where I need to go.

I guess the main thing I need to figure out is, do I want to stay in Arizona and go to Quartzsite or Congress. Both have plenty of room for boondocking on a holiday, or do I want to head to New Mexico? And find a place there. I don't know; either way will be okay if I get someplace early enough to beat the rush.
