This is a picture I took last year while boondocking in Quartzsite Arizona. Having nothing better to do today I animated part of it.
Another beautiful Denver day but it got pretty chilly last night so this morning I had to turn on my propane radiant heater for about an hour to warm up the Arctic Fox. I've been getting a little over 30 days out of one 10 gallon propane tank, but now that it's getting chilly at night that will probably drop down to about three weeks.
I didn't do much of anything today, my allergies were bothering me so I just hung around the Arctic Fox and practiced using a new software I just bought. For years I've been using Adobe Lightroom to not only edit my pictures but to catalog and keep up with all of my pictures. And even though it's my favorite way to work on my pictures I've never really liked or fully understood the way Lightroom keeps up with all the pictures.
So after dealing with Lightrooms eccentricities all of this time I decided to buy a software called Photo Mechanic whose sole job is to allow me to quickly and easily decide which pictures I want to keep, where they're going to go, and send them to Lightroom for editing.
Unfortunately this software won't improve my picture taking abilities at all, but what it will do is allow me to quickly delete all of my bad pictures so I can get down to the one good picture that should've been deleted but wasn't because it was the best one I got that day.
