There's a lot of reasons to click the pics today..... I just can't think of any. My very own picnic table basking in the setting sun.

Thank you Barney, since I know you buy those New Mexico nonresident ACPs all the time, I mostly wrote that for your edification. A lot of stuff is still in limbo at the moment, such as the boondocking not starting until tomorrow. And the lady I got my sticker from this morning had to consult with two different people to figure out exactly what was going on.

Glad to see the words, "enjoy myself while I can" in there. As for the Rio Grande, it IS looking pretty puny, and it's got a long way to go....Somehow, someway, water keeps adding to it, so it's a bit more respectable later on. Usually. But I haven't seen it in person in a couple of years.....and that was at the Big Bend in Texas.

Other rivers add to it along the way, but it doesn't seem to be enough to sustain it. We appear to be in a drought phase, the mountains just don't get the kind of snow they used to get, and it doesn't rain as much in the summer as it used to, and of course there's more agriculture than there used to be. All that adds up to rivers and reservoirs that are drying up.
