A morning at the park

Clicking the pics, is almost as much fun as watching your Grandkids playing in the park.

I took the Grands to one of the local parks this morning, and a good time was had by one and all. I found out that they're building slides a lot narrower than they used to be, or certain parts of my anatomy are wider than they used to be..... But I'm pretty sure the slides are narrower.

I got my Bat flu shot today, so now I should be able to safely go to the local Wet Market and buy a bucket of Bats for breakfast.

I've had some problems with the refrigerator in my little Bronco slide-in camper, and one of the problems is the fan that cools the condenser fins was kind of noisy. So I took the outside cover off the refrigerator, where all the essential parts are located, and found that the fan was making some noise and needed to be replaced. It's a standard 120 mm muffin fan that is used to cool desktop computers. And even though I have some spare muffin fans in my storage room in Divide, Colorado, it would probably take me a while to get one, so I ordered a couple off Amazon, which will be here tomorrow.

The factory just put one cooling fan on the fridge, but there was plenty of room for more, so I'll make a new bracket and mount two of them. The fans I bought will be quieter and move a lot more air than the junkey fan the factory put on.

As all RVers know, the refrigerator needs to be reasonably level to make it cool properly. And I don't think I was doing a very good job of leveling the truck while I was boondocking, which is another reason the refrigerator wasn't getting as cold as it should.

Unlike the Arizona desert, Colorado isn't all that flat, so leveling the truck is more difficult and time-consuming than I was willing to deal with, so I'm going to have to do better in the future if I want the fridge to be cold instead of just cool.

A morning at the park helps to wear them out so they sleep better..... At least that's the way it works for me.
