A normal day, in my normal life

Clicking the pics might tickle your fancy.... Depending on how ticklish your fancy is.

The other morning the campground woke up to a skiff of snow on the taller peaks, fortunately it never got down to my altitude.

I went to Safeway this morning, I was looking for some sushi and Safeway usually has some that's made in the store every day, but unfortunately not today. Wandering through the aisles I'm always amazed at the exceedingly high prices of everything when I'm not shopping at Walmart.

Then I went to Walmart and bought the groceries I needed. I think sometimes it's a good idea to walk around stores that aren't Walmart, and just imagine what the prices would be if Safeway and other grocery stores didn't have to at least try to compete with Walmart.

In the same parking lot as Walmart is Popeyes, and since it was almost lunchtime, I stopped in to get some red beans and rice to take home but unfortunately the doors were locked even though it was well past the opening hours written on the door.

But as I was leaving I noticed some people driving into the drive through, so I'm assuming sometimes Popeyes can't get hardly anyone to work so they have to close the dining area and just do take-out, which they can probably accomplish with less than half there normal staff.

 But since I had the bronco on my back, I didn't want to take a chance on not fitting in their drive through, and felt a little embarrassed about walking in their drive through, so I left without my cherished red beans and rice.

It's a sad situation but this is what you get when the people's work ethic has been slowly destroyed over the years, and their perfectly happy living on some type of welfare... This can't end well.

After that I went back to the Pima County Fairgrounds and had them fill a propane tank at $3.67 a gallon. My new boondocking home is just across the street from there so in no time I was parked, leveled up, groceries unpacked, hot cup of coffee in my hand, and settled in to relax without all the neighbors and the noise I've been dealing with for the last couple of weeks.

Theboondork

This is my old boondocking area at the Pima County Fairgrounds. There pushing down trees, and moving dirt around for the alleged reason of putting in culverts for the areas dry washes. But I'm pretty sure they're doing all this just to keep me from boondocking over there. They probably couldn't stand to see me happy all the time... And They probably had something to do with closing Popeyes, and drying up my supply of red beans and rice.

Red rose

The Oriental Saloon in Tombstone. This is where Wyatt Earp was dealing Faro, and actually won some silver mines in the area from the poor prospectors that didn't know when to quit.

In an effort to break up the monotony of my flower pictures I took this picture in black and white just to see how it would look. After all until the invention of color film this is what all red rose pictures looked like.
