I've never been to Stafford before, but I've read about it, it seems there was a big Indian massacre there or near there. So I looked it up and it's just north of I-10 near Wilcox. It really is out in the middle of nowhere.

Always glad to look something up, as long as it's easy. I don't know how that building ended up being an apartment for artists, maybe it was the only way they could think of to save an old building that had no value to anyone, but a huge bill for upkeep, and taxes.

Yeah as a former motorcycle & some dirt biking rider, I can understand your yearnings to saddle your Beta 250. - If it were me my concern would be how long its been since I rode dirt and the fact the geography may be an unfamiliar patch of real estate?

I hardly ever ride on the street anymore. Surviving on the street as you probably know is part skill, and part luck. I've been lucky for a lot of years and I've never been down on the street. But sooner or later I knew my luck was gonna run out, so I quit while I was ahead and just rode dirt bikes.

I used to bounce, now I just splat, and lay there waiting for the ambulance to arrive. Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
