My boondocking spot at the Benson Escapees Park. I'm either the only one that wants to boondock here, or everyone heard I was coming..... Either way it's a win for me.
I made my way the entire 40 miles to the Escapees Park in Benson Arizona without stopping and relaxing along the way. I signed up for two nights of boondocking at five bucks a night and was unhooked and had the Arctic Fox all set up to live in by 9 AM. That was a lot more effort than I usually expend by 9 o'clock so I figured I would take the rest of the day off.
Normally I would stay here longer than two nights but I'm a bit anxious to find a place to stay before the Easter holiday hits so I figured I'd better get on into New Mexico and find a spot where I would like to be for a couple of weeks.
Tomorrow I'll go into Tombstone, which is about 25 miles from here, take care of the things I need to get done and then do the tourist thing for a little while.
There's a Walmart and a Safeway here in Benson so I might stock up on a few things before heading for the wilds of New Mexico. I'm probably going to be boondocking in places where there's a Walmart but I never know for sure where I'm going to stay so I try to be prepared for just about anything.
A few more pictures from the motocross race I went to yesterday.
