Stormy morning at the Pima County Fairgrounds.

I was all packed up and ready to leave this morning, but when I got up, I wasn't feeling all that well and decided I should stick around another day and see how things went. I seldom have days when I don't feel right, so it concerns me when I do. And with the Bat flu still, around I didn't want to take any chances I might get worse, so I decided this was the best place to be.

Fortunately, I started feeling better after lunch, so I'm planning to leave tomorrow morning again. If it hadn't been for my Bat flu concerns, I probably would've gone ahead and left.  Since the early symptoms of the Bat flu can be the first symptoms of just about every other sickness on the planet, I tend to be overly cautious.

Since I didn't get out and do anything today, I don't have any recent pictures. So I dug up some random flower pictures that I took at the Pima County Fairgrounds when the roses were still blooming. There are dozens of rose bushes at the Fairgrounds, and when I first got there, they were just starting to bloom, and by the time I left the other day, there were only three bushes left that had a few roses on them. Since the rosebushes are irrigated and get plenty of water, I guess it's the heat from the sun that finishes them off.

Deciding to stay two nights in Deming, and then today's delay leaving Deming puts me into the position of staying in Walmart parking lots over the weekend. I'm not fond of that because they tend to be more noisy than usual since people do more shopping and running around on Friday and Saturday nights. But I'll either deal with it or do something else.

I think I would have a hard time relaxing while driving or thinking about parking this rig. It looks like he can only get fuel at a truck stop. Walmart parking lots may be the only place he can Park. And even commercial RV campgrounds must be a tight squeeze. I think the only place I would be able to relax living in this rig would be boondocking in the deserts around Quartzsite.
