An ideal way to do the laundry. Minimal toting. Only improvement I can think of is to have the whole business taken care of without any involvement on my part. Well, maybe in the old folk's home...and then I can complain about the results.

I don't mind actually doing laundry, it's the waiting around that bothers me. And that's what made parking the Lance outside the laundry room such a wonderful thing. I just got back in the Lance while the clothes were washing, and suddenly I was home, with my computer, some snacks, a cup of coffee, I got to do just what I would normally do if I wasn't doing laundry.... It was great! And one more reason why living in the Lance is making my life better than it was before.

I'm old enough to remember when a paper grocery bag full only cost $10. Of course, that's all we could afford on the wages we earned back then.

Yeah that's one of the many problems of getting old, you can look back and see how cheap things were. Every time I drive by a fast food restaurant they have a sign in the window advertising $15 an hour for help, I don't think I ever made $15 an hour for any job that I worked. I wasn't even making $15 an hour on the last federal government job I had.... I had good bennies, but not that much money.
