OH BOY. Shades of my grandmother Trump, she was a Cajun and made some famous breakfasts in my early life.

Lucille's restaurant here in Denver is my favorite place to eat. Without a doubt they make the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had in my life. And real old-time grits that taste just like my mom made, and since my mom was born and raised in South Georgia, she knew something about grits.

OK then!! When you can work it into your schedule, you will be properly feted with a fine Cajun breakfast. I don't know for sure what a Cajun breakfast consists of, but I do like Cajun food. I suspect it will be quite good.....You could always do the popular thing and take a photo of the food. Who doesn't like to see food??

I'm rather fond of Cajun food myself, the food appears the same to me, they just often prepare it differently.

Ha. Yes. You could put "trigger warning" or whatever they call it in college courses these days when someone is trying to teach literature....or teach at atll.

Yeah I don't think the majority of college students are getting their money's worth anymore. I think they would be better served by going to a technical college and learning how to be an electrician or a plumber.

Southern Louisiana breakfasts Cajun style has no peers. grillades & stone ground grits with para cheese - Blueberry Cornmeal or buttermilk pancakes and of course over easy or basted eggs biscuits, preserves and fresh boudin sausage - Spent a week on leave with a military buddy from near Opelousas LA. - I have never ate or enjoyed so much incredible home cooked meals/cookouts , music and culture since.

That's for sure. The Cajun roots run long and deep in Louisiana, and there music, culture, and especially their food is still as popular as ever. But the real stuff is hard to get when you're this far from the Mississippi River. Usually as close as you can get to Cajun cooking is a fast food place like Popeyes, which by the way has great red beans and rice, so were all lucky to have Lucille's restaurant right here in Denver where Cajun cooking is done right.

I've never tried Cajun food but I do have Zydeco music on my player.

Zydeco music and Cajun cooking both go together really well, my favorite for music is the The Ragin' Cajun, Doug Kershaw.
