Click the pics....that's a request, not an order. Another beautiful warm day dawns in Yuma.

Speaking of scrounging, there is its brother, bartering. When I was stationed at Fort Ord after coming back from vietnam, i was in post communications.

Thanks for that story KennyD, I think that gives a clear insight into the inner workings of the military, and how GIs manage to find a little happiness while doing a dangerous, difficult, and extraordinarily underpaid job.

Tom said "I always thought these Scamp fifth wheels looked weird. They look like they took a normal Scamp fiberglass travel trailer and glued on a bulbous front end for a bedroom."

That makes perfect sense Ken. I always liked the concept of all fiberglass RVs, like the various rolling eggs, and the truck campers like Bigfoot, and Northern Lite, I think it makes them look clean, strong, aerodynamic, and especially more waterproof. But I think Scamps designers could've done a better job of incorporating the "bulbous nose" into the rest of the trailer to make it look more like one piece.... And maybe they did, but the bean counters got the final say.
