When I woke up this morning and looked out the window I saw a sheet of white paper stuck under my windshield wiper blade on the truck. Glancing down the parking lot I saw a couple more vehicles with the same piece of paper on the windshield and I was pretty sure what it was.
After getting dressed I went outside got the paper and found out I was right, it was an EVICTION NOTICE !... Well actually eviction notice is way too strong a term although it had the same effect. It was a paper from casino security stating that the casino is going to close for one week because of a "cultural ceremony", remember this is an Indian casino and is on reservation land, and All RVs have to leave the parking lot by March 27.
This bit of news does not affect me at all because I'd planned on leaving before then anyway. The paper went on to apologize and say that they were sorry that we were required to leave and they welcomed us to come back after the event was over even referring to us as guests. It had to be the nicest eviction notice anyone could possibly get.
I filled up my empty propane tank this morning at $2.70 a gallon and that tank lasted 28 days. Two of those days I was plugged in so the refrigerator was running on electric instead of propane, and I used my little portable electric heater instead of my propane heater so I guess you could say that a 10 gallon tank of propane lasted me 26 days and that includes turning on my propane infrared heater every morning for an hour or so to take the chill off the room.
I think tomorrow I will go to the Pima air Museum just outside Tucson. I go there every time I'm in this area because it's a great museum to see airplanes and its big enough that it's hard to see everything in one visit, and of course they put new airplanes in it when they become available, so I always look forward to going there. I guess it also helps that my Dad was an Air Force lifer, and I put in four years when I got out of high school and later on worked for the Air Force as a civilian so I guess you could say I've got a little bit of jet fuel in my blood.
