My life is back to normal now, or at least what passes for normal in my situation. I've been helping babysit the grandkids while their parents took a brief trip out of the country. But they're back home now, so I can go back to my normal life of modifying the Lance camper and complaining about the heat... Which reminds me, seven of the next ten days will have high temperatures in the mid-90s.

I didn't do much of anything today, mostly just recuperating from my babysitting duties. The grands are pretty easy to deal with; they seem to have a good mix of playing quietly in their rooms and running around the living room screaming, yelling, and fighting each other with their light-sabers.

 I'm thankful I don't have to deal with it every day, but I've got grown kids, so I must've had to deal with it every day at one time or another. But I feel that grandparents are best at spoiling the grandkids, then running away and letting the parents clean up the mess.

I spotted an odd little log cabin.

Reading the sign on the front of it, I discovered it really was an odd log cabin; it in fact was the Odd Fellows Lodge.

I had always wondered why they were called Odd Fellows, but I think seeing their club costumes answered a lot of questions I had about the Odd Fellows.

Their attire was certainly odd, as was a coffin on a shelf. I failed to ascertain whether said coffin contained anyone of importance.
