The transition from the escapees RV park in Casa Grande to Ben Avery's shooting range near Cave Creek came off without a hitch. I took the long way here instead of going the short way through Phoenix on Interstate 10 because experience has taught me that the traffic driving through the middle of Phoenix tends to be horrendous and pulling a trailer would turn the whole endeavor into a nightmare.
I knew that Ben Avery's was going to be crowded because there's a big deal national shoot going on but I had no idea that it was going to be as crowded as it is. Since I wanted to stay for two weeks the office couldn't find a campsite for me that was going to be available for two weeks. Soooo, I'm going to be staying in three different campsites for these two weeks, moving every few days, which was the only way the situation would work out for me. Come to find out February is the busiest month of their entire year for Ben Avery, lucky me.
But anyway, even though it's crowded the campsites here are really far apart so I don't have people right next to me like I did at the SKPs for the last week. The only downside so far is that they're all back in sites so I guess I'll get a little practice using my extremely limited, some would say dangerous, backing skills.
