Clicking the pics opens up a window to the west. I'm missing the mounted shooters already.

Yes, the painters of old would often paint horses with all four legs stretched out in some unnatural position that they thought looked more graceful. They also painted babies' heads too small. I can understand how painters would have trouble figuring out which way a horse's legs would go, but all they had to do is look at a baby and they could see that babies' heads are large compared to their bodies.
