When I was a young'un we didn't have no pics to click, we just had to hold the picture closer to our face.

I think the most trouble for me with the slide in would be the lack of water capacity for fresh and gray/black.

Barney, you have pointed right to one of the major problems with most slide-in camper's, which is as you have said... Inadequate storage tanks.

Would you consider a composting toilet? It uses no water for solid waste, liquid waste could be dealt with alongside the grey water (or do as most men do and water the bushes). I realise many people object to the disposal process, but they are popular with many van campers. I believe it would take about the same amount of space within the camper as a traditional holding tank toilet.

I've looked into composting toilets and I don't like what I see.

I just noticed the human face in the lighted part of the ridge in the header pic. forehead to the right/ chin to the left. Interesting.

Your way better at spotting things like that than I am, I've been looking at the picture but I'm not sure I can see it.

You could put a 12v frig in the passenger seat of the truck to store non-daily use things.

Both of those are good ideas Linda. See, spending time camping in a van has taught you to think outside the box on how to solve the problems of living in a small RV.
