Can an RV carry enough stuff to make you happy

I was just thinking today about how poor I am. Not poor in important things but poor financially.

I keep a budget everyday and write down everything I spend and put it in categories that I've created such as, camping, truck, food, and things such as that. I've got eight categories now, having started with eleven. Along the way found that a few category's didn't matter because I hardly ever put an entry into them so I just moved them into something like miscellaneous.

I started this budget when I began full timing. Before that I never even considered having a budget but since this was a new life for me I wanted to see what it was going to cost to live fairly comfortably on a limited income.

People are always asking full timers what it cost to live in an RV. And of course the answer is "any amount you want".

In my travels I've met people that were living and boondocking in their car. Now these were always kind of short people that could sleep in the backseat of a car without their feet sticking out of the window like I would have to do, but they were nonetheless living in the car and cooking on a propane stove set up on a folding table. And despite what you might think, they were perfectly happy.

I've also met people living in multi-million dollar motor-homes that were lacking nothing that the average mansion would have except the space, and the Butler, and I'm none too sure about the Butler because I didn't go inside. They told me there were very happy living the way they were and I saw no reason to doubt that.

So it would appear to me that the amount of money you have to live on while full timing seems to have very little to do with how much your enjoying your life. But how can that possibly be? If you don't have much money you can't buy much "stuff" and how can you be happy if you don't have much "stuff", especially if you see other people that have more "stuff" than you do?

Well this post is getting a little long, and I need to make some dinner so I will try to answer this and many other weighty questions such as, can tweeting tweeters tweak while twerking, in tomorrows post.
