It's been really cloudy all day and I think this is the first day I've had in a long time when it stayed cloudy the entire day. Needless to say my solar panels were not very productive today they returned about 70 amps to the batteries but that still left me about 20 amps from being fully charged when the sun went down. And unfortunately for the next few days it's supposed to be very cloudy . I will be okay.... I hope, but I will have to limit how much time I use my laptop, at 12 amps an hour it's a power hog.
I think I have to re-up tomorrow, I'm not sure, I'll have to check my calendar but I think the one week stay I paid for will be over Thursday. Had planned on going to a full hookup site after my first week here but now I've decided that I like it in my boondocking location and I'd rather have a lot of empty space around me than to be hooked up.
I checked the weather and it's supposed to be cloudy and rainy until Sunday, that means I'll have three more days with cloudy weather like today. ordinarily that would be a good time to be hooked up but since I've never had that many cloudy days in a row before I think it's a good opportunity to see how my solar panels work when they don't get much sunshine. So I'm going to tough it out and see if I run out of power before the sun comes out again.
