Last night I called the guy that weighs your RV here at the Escapees Park, which the Escapees call "Smartweigh".  He came out and dropped off a paper I need to fill out with information about the fifth wheel and the tow vehicle, like carry weight of the trailer, size of the tires, dates the tires were manufactured which is molded into the tire, and other things like that, so when he weighs the tow vehicle and the RV he can tell whether your over your weight limits are not. By the way he's called a Weighmaster..... I wish I had a cool title like that.

It cost $55 for them to do this and even though it's more expensive than a Cat Scale at a truck stop this gives an RVer more information and what the weights mean are explained to you in clear English, and they tell you what you need to do to fix any weight problems that show up. I'm scheduled to get weighed at 9 o'clock Monday morning, maybe the Weighmaster will let me help and I can be the assistant Weighmaster.

I drove to Congress Arizona this morning which is only five or six miles down the road from the North Ranch, And checked out some BLM boondocking outside of town. It looked like there was plenty of room if I want to go there since there was only four or five RVs scattered around. So I might head that way Monday morning and maybe spend a week or so.

After I left Congress I drove back to Wickenburg and then down to Box Wash to see if they were still allowing boondocking out there. It looked fine, there was a dozen or so RVs there so I guess they haven't run everybody off yet. So when I get tired of Congress I might go down to Box Wash and stay for a little bit.

So far those are my plans, but just like all my plans I may or may not end up doing any of that. When I drive out the gate Monday morning I might just head to Quartzsite so I can enjoy "Q" for little while before the thundering herd shows up after the holidays.

This is one of the 14 day BLM boondocking areas off Ghost Town Road just outside of Congress. If you look carefully you can see a couple of RVs hiding behind the trees.

Box Wash boondocking area 5 or 6 miles South of Wickenburg Arizona. Box Wash has to be the Cholla Cactus capital of the world.
