This morning I drove into town to see the antique car show, it sounded like a good picture taking opportunity, but all I ended up doing was driving all over town for about 20 minutes trying to find a place to park and never found any place I could Park a pickup truck. So I gave up on the car show and just went to the rodeo this afternoon. It wasn't a regular rodeo like I am used to, it turned out that it was a "Senior" Rodeo. Now I had seen the signs all over town advertising the rodeo but I thought the signs said "senor rodeo"so I thought it would be a Mexican rodeo, which are really fun to watch cause their rough stock events are absolutely insane. But I was wrong, it was a bunch of old folks just like me, who I thought by that age would have enough sense to stay off of horses but apparently not.
But thank goodness they had enough sense not to have any rough stock events, it was just some roping events for the guys and barrel racing for the ladies. But I have to admit they were some tough cowboys and cowgirls out there, and it takes a lot of nerve to do some of the things they did especially since they don't bounce like they did 30 years ago. theboondork

Tom - these are some excellent action shots! You really captured the intensity of the riders and the horses. Very well done.

Thank you very much Tim. I don't often get a chance to take action pictures mostly things have to stand still for me to get a decent picture.
